What to Include With Your Donation
Campaign finance law requires us to collect the following information from every donor. Please include this with your check or cash donation:
- Full name
First and last name of the contributor
- Mailing address
Street address, city, state, and ZIP code
- Occupation / job title
Your job or profession (e.g., Retired, Teacher, Small Business Owner)
- Employer
Name of your employer, or "Self-Employed" / "Not Employed" if applicable
- Phone or email
So we can confirm receipt and send a thank-you
Contributions are not tax-deductible. Federal and California campaign finance law requires us to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of each contributor. By making a contribution, you confirm that you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and that the contribution is made from your own funds. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, and foreign nationals are prohibited.
